CAMP Volunteer Info Session

The Caring Aggies Mentoring Program (CAMP) is looking for volunteers to support our 3rd grade students (in Aldine ISD), as well as our 9th & 12th grade students (in Spring Branch ISD).
We are having an info session and social open to anyone interested in learning about CAMP.
- Date: Thursday, June 27
- Location: King’s BierHaus, 2044 E T C Jester Blvd, Houston, TX 77008
- Time: 5:00 – 7:30 p.m.
We will plan monthly events for the students over the 2024-2025 school year.
CAMP volunteers mentor students as they develop through school and inspire them to pursue higher education by:
- Reinforcing excellent academic standards
- Building confidence and leadership skills
- Providing fun, life-enriching experiences
- Role-modeling qualities of success
It’s fun and easy to become a volunteer:
- Attend one orientation session
- Pass a State of Texas required annual background check
- Commit to mentoring a group of students approx. 4 – 5 days each school year
- Represent Texas A&M and share the Aggie Spirit with our community
