DESCRIPTION:Join the Houston A&M Club at The Backyard Grill on Saturday\, January 2nd to watch the Fightin’ Texas Aggies beat the hell out of the UNC Tarheels! \nKickoff is at 7:00 p.m. \nThe Backyard Grill will be offering an All Day Happy Hour (beginning at 11:00 a.m.) and a FREE Nacho Bar for Aggie fans during the game (through the 3rd quarter). \nThe Backyard Grill is located at the Southwest corner of Jones Rd. at West Rd.\, north of 290. \nThis event is FREE\, but if you plan to attend please let us know by registering using the “Buy Tickets” button below. \n \nThe Backyard Grill is following all health and safety guidelines set by the state and the health department to ensure your safety. This is an in-person activity. Every attendee must evaluate their unique circumstances and make an informed decision before attending in-person activities. She was recipient of the 2004 Buck Weirus Spirit Award and recognized in the 2018 Texas A&M 12 under 12 young alumni spotlight. She recently left the Trump administration\, where she was the senior attorney for energy development on federal land. She served in two roles at the U.S. Department of the Interior (1) Deputy Solicitor for Energy and Natural Resources\, and (2) Senior Counselor to the Assistant Secretary for Land and Minerals Management. And she also served as Deputy General Counsel of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Marcella recently returned to Houston and is a partner at King & Spalding\, where she leads the Houston office of her firm’s environmental practice group. She has three sons whose blood also bleeds maroon.
