If you would like to contribute\, please drop off your items at the designated locations before the ceremony begins. \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER OR DONATE \n  \nAbout our Speaker: \nRobert L. “Bob” Albritton ‘71\, Chairman\, Texas A&M Board of Regents \n \nRobert L. Albritton of Fort Worth graduated with honors from Texas A&M University in 1971\, receiving a double major in Economics and Marketing. Upon graduation\, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U. S. Air Force. \nIn 1978\, Mr. Albritton joined Texas American Bank as Senior Vice President. Shortly thereafter he formed his first independent company\, Albritton Development Company\, which became the holding company for various operating entities\, i.e. Mayfair Capitol\, a merchant banking company with interest in several diversified businesses; Albritton Energy\, a company involved in natural gas transmission and processing\, as well as oil and gas exploration and production; Albritton Partners\, a nationally recognized real estate development company; and in 1988\, Mr. Albritton formed Mayfair Investments\, LLC\, a company in which he is still Chairman and CEO. \nIn 1994\, Mr. Albritton and another individual started Railroad Controls Limited (RCL). Under his leadership\, RCL became the largest privately owned railroad signaling and communications company in America before its sale in February 2015. Expansion of services to Class I railroads continued with the formation of RCL Wiring\, LP in 2005 and RCL Burco\, LLC in 2008 of which he is currently Chairman and CEO. Mr. Albritton is also the majority owner and Board Chairman of Wave Neuroscience\, a company researching and developing treatments for PTSD and other mental and cognitive conditions. \nMr. Albritton has served on numerous boards in both the public and private sectors. He remains active in several charitable and community organizations as well. He has also been active with both the United States Golf Association and Southern Golf Association\, having had the opportunity to qualify for numerous U.S. and British Amateurs. \nMr. Albritton was appointed to the Board of Regents by Governor Greg Abbott in 2015 and reappointed in 2021. He was elected Vice Chairman of the Board on May 3\, 2023\, and was elected Chairman of the Board on April 22\, 2025. He has served as a member of the Committee on Finance\, the Committee on Facilities Planning and Construction\, the Committee on Audit and Risk Management\, and the Committee on Academic and Student Affairs. He has also served as a member of the special committee on the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets\, and as a liaison to the Development Foundations of A&M System Members\, and the Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets and System Military Training Programs.
