General Information about the Scholarships awarded by the Houston A&M Club

The Houston A&M Club will award more than 33 scholarships each year to outstanding high school seniors from the Houston area who will attend or are already attending Texas A&M University .

The Houston A&M Club supports Houston Students who want to attend Texas A&M University by endowing and funding these awards:

• 3 - Foundation Excellence Awards to attract a diverse student body
• 3 -12th Man Endowed Scholarships support student athletes
• 2 - Sul Ross Scholarships support students in the Corps of Cadets
• 1 - President's Endowed Scholarship
• 1 - Endowed Regents Award
• 15 - Opportunity Awards to recognize and support competitive Houston Aggies
• 3 - Endowed Opportunity Awards
• 2 - Buck Weirus Spirit Awards to recognize students who make outstanding contributions to the university by participation in student organizations, Aggie traditions and university events
• 4 - Top Kick Award Scholarships support Houston Aggies who are upper classmen.

The Houston A&M Club also supports Texas A&M University by making annual donations to campus programs and organizations. Campus support funding includes funding to:

• The 10 academic Colleges through their Dean’s discretionary funds
• The Texas A&M University Band The 12th Man Capital Campaign
• Numerous Student Organizations on campus, awarded by our Donations Committee. (A Donations Request Form is available online).
